While Satori Trailheads is rooted in small-group journeys, we occasionally create private, custom expeditions for individuals, families, or small groups who require a more tailored approach. Each experience is built collaboratively. Length of trip, tuition, and pacing are determined together, based on goals, timing, and readiness. With decades of global expedition experience, we are able to design meaningful journeys across a wide range of landscapes and cultural contexts. These experiences are not about luxury or escape — they are about intentional movement, mentorship, and real-world connection.
Sometimes a scheduled cohort isn’t the right fit. Private experiences may be appropriate for:
Timing Needs: Families navigating a sudden transition, gap period, or change in plans who need flexibility outside fixed program dates.
Privacy & Focus: Individuals or families who benefit from a quieter container with a smaller mentorship team and reduced group dynamics.
Shared Experiences: Sibling groups, parent–child journeys, or small circles of friends seeking a meaningful experience together.
Every custom expedition begins with a conversation. Together, we clarify intentions, identify challenges, and define what meaningful progress could look like.

A quieter, land-centered experience emphasizing listening, relationship, and connection to place. Participation occurs through respectful partnership and invitation.
Regardless of location, every Satori Trailheads journey holds to the same core principles:
Trips are scheduled around readiness and availability, not fixed admissions cycles.
Participants work closely with experienced leadership throughout the journey.
Optional parent involvement — including closing gatherings or shared segments — helps support re-entry and continued growth at home.
Because each custom pathway is unique, tuition, duration, and travel logistics are developed collaboratively after an initial consultation. Experiences may range from short intensives to multi-week journeys depending on goals and readiness.
