Ages 14–17

Youth Leadership Experience

A mentored adventure for bright, capable teens who are struggling with motivation, confidence, or direction.

Who This Is For

Designed for teens who are capable and thoughtful, but struggling with motivation, direction, or independence.

Bright but anxious, disengaged, or retreating.

Unsure how to step into responsibility.

Struggling to find motivation for school or life.

We break unhelpful patterns through movement and mentorship, helping participants build:

Resilience and confidence through earned effort.

Leadership through action, not just words.

Clearer communication & relationship with parents.

The Journey

A carefully sequenced progression designed to break inertia and build momentum.

A vertical landscape of Yosemite Valley featuring the massive granite cliff of El Capitan on the left. Mist and low clouds drift through a dense evergreen forest on the valley floor, with snow-dusted peaks in the distance.

WEEK ONE

Effort, Confidence, Perspective

We head north to Yosemite National Park for camping and hiking. Participants learn early that they are capable of doing hard things together.

Stops include Hearst Castle to explore vision and discipline, and surf lessons in San Diego to teach humility and perseverance.

A tall, multi-armed Saguaro cactus stands centered in a desert landscape. In the background, a blue body of water is visible beyond rolling brown hills under a clear, pale blue sky.

WEEK TWO

Service & Responsibility

A full week in Baja California working daily at an orphanage. Days are structured and purposeful.

This week creates the biggest internal shift: entitlement softens and confidence grows through the experience of being needed.

A wide-angle view of a deep canyon with towering, reddish-orange rock faces. A winding river and a small road snake through the valley floor, which is dotted with green trees and dry brush.

WEEK THREE

Reflection, Direction, Integration

We travel to Sedona for guided reflection. With reliable internet, participants write a clear post-program plan.

The journey concludes with a final integration hike in Zion National Park before returning home.

More Than Just a Trip.

We ensure the momentum built on the trail translates to life at home.

Parent Alignment

While teens are on the road, parents participate in weekly group coaching calls led by a parent coach to ensure the home environment is ready for re-entry.

Actionable Planning

Participants do not leave with inspiration alone. They return with a specific, written post-program plan for school, health, and family dynamics.

Closing Experience

The program concludes in Los Angeles with a shared family dinner (family travel not included), a trip film, and a training on how to support momentum without rescuing.
